My Personal Story: I gave this giant sea turtle to a 2 year old last Thanksgiving. He was mesermized with it. At first he went to his crib and got his blankie. He covered the turtle with the blankie and then laid on top of it. Then, he rolled down and put his arm around the turtle's head as he laid on the floor. Then he sat on the turtle and bounced. He brought the turtle a toy. When it was naptime, he held on to a leg and pulled the turtle to his bedroom. The Mom put the turtle in the bed and the boy went to sleep with his arm around the turtle's neck immediately. The Mom said he never went to sleep so easily - especially with guests present. After the nap, he came pulling the turtle. No matter which room, he brought the turtle with him. I asked at Easter - 5 months later - how's the turtle? It's still his favorite and he takes it with him. He is still sleeping with it.The San Diego Zoo sells this turtle for $49.95.
